i’m actually really enjoying baltimore. i never really considered any schools in areas other than new york, boston, or california, but goucher may have changed my mind on that. out of all the schools i’ve visited so far, i think that i have a shot at actually getting in and enjoying it. their history department is super strong, and i have the oppertunity to major in art history and get my teaching degree at the same time. the campus is beautiful too, not like it really matters to me, but it’s always nice to be surrounded by lovely wooded areas and such.
i think i’m going to apply early action, as long as i can figure out all the scholorship shit before then. this summer will consist of taking three classes, working full time, essay writing for free money and attempting to have a semi-social life.
it’s weird thinking that hopefully this time next year i’ll be accepted (HOPEFULLY) and ready to start really educating myself. i can’t believe i’m growin’ up n shit, it’s so odd that i’m actually going to college sort of soon, i’m having issues wrapping my mind about it, as is my mother. she was freaking out a little bit earlier, apparently i’m going to be calling home every night.
